The client was a very large fertilizer manufacturer who wished to undertake an overall Asset Performance Management improvement program.

 

We were engaged by the client as the consulting partner for the overall Asset Performance Management implementation, we assisted the client in implementing the APM software for monitoring asset performance including using hand held devices for field mechanics and technician to digitally capture data related to field inspections and also to be able to directly create Work Requests in the event of an abnormality being found during the inspections.

This solution was fully integrated to their existing SAP CMMS / ERP system for Work Order creation. In addition the APM system was also able to provide real time alarms based on the inspection data captured as well as generate KPI for PM compliance. The digital solution is an important component of the overall Asset Performance improvement program enabling continuous analysis and improvement of the maintenance tactics being deployed.
