Training and Seminars
We believe that for change to be truly successful then
significant investment is required in training the people in the
new skills and techniques required to support improvement
programs. As such we have assembled a number of recognised
training courses delivered by certified trainers to assist with
your staff development programs, specifically targeted at
maintenance and operations personnel. All of our training
courses are suitable for use as parts of large consulting
engagements and as stand-alone training delivered either
in-house or to "public" audiences. If you see something here
that you are interested in please contact us to discuss the best
delivery method for your situation. To learn more about any of
them please CONTACT US. The schedule at the bottom of
this web-page shows the courses we are currently offering to
public audiences
RCM
Introduction to Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM II) - 3
Days
This training provides an overview and
sufficient depth in RCM and its steps to enable participants to
be effective in the RCM process. The course is highly
interactive with group discussions and case study exercises. It
is targeted at maintainers, planners, operators, supervisors and
superintendents or anyone else who are likely to manage or
participate in RCM projects as team members, auditors, or
sponsors. It is an excellent course for companies who wish to
know more about RCM or in the process of implementing RCM and
want to educate their workforce on the process, how it works and
what it results in. For our RCM training, we are licensed by
Aladon to deliver their world leading and highly successful RCM
II courses and related services. Our tutors were trained and
certified directly by the late John Moubray, author of RCM II.
The approach taught on the course conforms fully to the SAE JA
1011 standard on “Evaluation Criteria for Reliability-Centered
Maintenance Processes”.

lead their own analysis. This course goes into greater detail
than the 3-day course and expands on several key topics.

TPM3
Introduction to TPM3 – 2 Days
This course
explains the background of TPM3 and clarifies the concepts
behind it. The course is intended for decision makers and key
employees who will be responsible for initiating, leading and
supporting TPM3.
TPM3 is recognised as a proven company wide improvement strategy
initially focusing on equipment performance, which ultimately
involves all employees, not just the maintenance and production
employees.
TPM3 aims at improving the workplace through the introduction of
the performance measures - Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Time
Lost, Lead Time, Time Lost and Life Cycle Cost. These measures
act as ‘drivers’ for improving capacity (OEE = A x R x Q),
safety & environment, quality to customer, delivery,
productivity, cost and morale. Most importantly, TPM3 reduces
frustrations and hence achieves good buy-in from all employees.
